Celebrity make-up artist and hairstylist, Nthato Mashishi, is said to still be upset after his car was stolen while he was partying at a pub at Alexandra township on Saturday night.
PARTYING IN ALEX
According to a source close to the situation, Nthato who is usually spotted in his German sports car, was using his Chevrolet sedan on the day as he had a make-up gig. He was driving his Chevrolet because it has more space than his Mercedes Benz. Little did he know he will fall under this year's crime statistics. The source adds that after doing make-up, Nthato took a detour to the township to have a good time with his Alex friends at a popular pub. While the award-winning best dressed was partying up a storm, thugs made away with his car.
CAR FOUND ABANDONED
According to the source, Nthato nearly fainted when he discovered that his car was gone. Nthato, who the source says does not usually go out, was annoyed and he pulled ranks calling his friends in high places. A case was opened at Alexandra police station and the car was later found abandoned with only his driver's licence inside, everything else was gone. "In the car was his precious cargo, his make-up kit, expensive designer clothes and his other cell phone," says the source "The only thing the thieves left was his driver's licence," The source added that Nthato is still distraught but had to make peace with the fact that his things are gone and crying over them is not going to help his situation.
