As the new year started, some Mzansi celebrities have taken the opportunity to contemplate their aspirations for 2025. From prioritising a relationship with God to just going with the flow, here's a look at their aspirations for 2025.
RAPPER PRIDDY UGLY WANTS A GROWING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
It is difficult to maintain a relationship with God in the ever-bustling entertainment industry because of a busy schedule, but rapper Priddy Ugly said he wants to get closer to God in the new year. "I want to grow my relationship with God. I want to make Him my priority in my life. I've neglected my relationship with Him this year, but I want to fix it next year," he said.
ACTRESS SOPHIE NDABA'S VISION BOARD
While most people subject themselves to pressure to come up with New Year resolutions in December for the following year, Sophie Ndaba said she creates her vision board a year in advance. "I already know what I want to achieve in 2025, and I've already set my vision board for next year for the things I want to achieve," the actress explained.
ACTOR AND MUSO BRIAN TEMBA
Former Muvhango star Brian Temba said when he was younger, he used to come up with New Year resolutions, but he's since realised that life happens organically. "I used to have resolutions when I was younger; I just feel life is what you make of it. I've also discovered that we have a different calendar as Africans; when I did my research, it seems New Year's for us should have been in September. So I don't make resolutions anymore; I take every day as it comes. My bible says, we may make our plans but God has the last word. I stick to that," he said.
