It has been just a few years since she announced her separation from her husband Thierry Bashala. The couple has been together for eight years and married for six years. The author, breast cancer activist, and mom of six got her groove back when she found love again from painter and artist Leeroy Andile Cana. They were a perfect pair, so it seemed on social media.

But Zoleka Mandela and the new father of her child Leeroy seem to have separated and are in touch for the sake of their baby Zingce Mandela and are co-parenting. According to Leeroy's social media, he is an involved father always present for each milestone. In their happy days, Zoleka and Leeroy called themselves #TakkienoSlamba (Sneakers and jacket) as he is a painter making a living from customising jackets and she paints sneakers as one of her side hustles.

1: Andile Leeroy Cana is a fine artist and customises jackets with paint. He has designed jackets for the late Shona Ferguson and Connie Ferguson as well as Vusi Nova, Bonang Matheba, Zahara, Somizi Mhlongo, and many other celebrities.

2: He comes from the township of Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape. He lived in Cape Town for more than a decade where he studied at university.

3: Leeroy has appeared on a couple of TV shows and a handful of adverts. His recent appearance was on The Wife as an extra. He is also an aspiring model.
