His friends from back home in Daveyton on the East Rand dubbed him a mashaya due to his spirit of hustling. Now, singer Young Stunna, real name Sandile Msimango wants to gift the spirit of hustling to a supportive fan.

PARTNERSHIP

He has partnered with South African jewellers Luminary Jewellery Company and Jägermeister to create a diamond chain valued at R105 000. The chain will be gifted to a loyal fan. "This collaboration was more than just a creation; it was a shared vision brought to life,' Young Stunna said.

HANDS-ON

It took about three weeks to design and manufacture the chain, and Young Stunna was hands-on throughout the process. "It is a one-of-one creation. The Mashaya Chain is more than just jewellery. It's a celebration of artistry, culture, and the power of collaboration,' Young Stunna tells ZiMoja.

VALUABLE

He said he wanted something that reflected his personality and fashion sense. "I chose the typography of the pendant, the green stone detailing, and the cross-link chain design,' he says. "I wanted to ensure the final piece was a true representation of my style and the story he wanted to tell.' Young Stunna says he hopes a good and kind person gets to wear the piece.
