Actress, DJ and social media influencer Thuli Phongolo has joined the list of unreliable DJs who left their fans high and dry. Hardly a month after she announced that she broke up with her boyfriend, DJ Maphorisa, and her former fellow group member, Slenda Da Dancing DJ, Thuli is said to be going through the most.

A NO SHOW AT EVENT

Sources close to the former Generations actress said she was a no-show this past weekend at the annual Dundee July in KwaZulu-Natal, where her group 2Faced was booked to perform. According to the close source, Thuli had confirmed the booking, but she was a no-show at the now popular and glamorous annual event. Another source said she is not taking her breakup from Maphorisa too well. "Since her break-up with DJ Maphorisa, she has been keeping a low profile. Thuli does not like confrontations. She is probably dealing with a lot," said the source.

According to the source, Thuli could not go to the event because she was meant to perform with Slenda. "Her and Slenda Da Dancing DJ do not breathe the same air. They can't stand each other. Thuli thought she was a bigger star and treated Slenda like a fan because most gigs were coming through her, with the help of here ex, Maphorisa," added the source. The source added that Slenda performed on her own at the event. Thuli refused to comment on the matter. One of the event organisers, who only introduced himself as Mapholoba, said: "Who gave you that information? Call her manager and ask what happened. You are too much, no comment," he said.
