Suthukazi Arosi to be laid to rest this weekend

Music lovers, family and friends will be heading to Queenstown, Eastern Cape, this weekend to bid farewell to singer Suthukazi Arosi. The icon passed away on 21 February after battling cancer.


HER GIFT NOT RESPECTED


Earlier this week, friends in the showbiz industry and family celebrated the life of the late star.The Market Theatre was a hive of activity on Tuesday as mourners paid tribute to the legend of more than 40 years. Her son Lifa Arosi said the wonderful gift her mother was given was not respected when she was still alive. 


SHE WILL BE LAID TO REST THIS WEEKEND 


Arosi, who would have turned 64 in March, has performed with internationally acclaimed musicians like Hugh Masekela, Caiphus Semenya and Letta Mbulu, Jonas Gwangwa, Miriam Makeba. She also performed in counties like USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Holland, France, Portugal and Singapore.

Arosi, who has travelled the world extensively to perform with different legends, will be buried at the Cala Indoor Sport Centre, in Queenstown, at 8h30am
