She previously healed people with her spiritual music. Now Afro-rock singer and songwriter Camagwini, real name Siphokazi Buti, heals people through prophecy, herbs, and spiritual advice.
SEEKING NORMALITY
After the birth of her daughter in 2013, she quit making music and producing and performing to try and live what she calls a normal life. "I was not going through anything, I just wanted live a normal and simple life," she said. At the time, she was signed to Native Rhythms owned by Dr Sipho Sithole who respected her decision to want to take time off. In 2019, she made a return to the music scene with the single, Dubai under 4 Billion Records.
SPIRITUAL
Although she has gone back into her shell, she continues to make music. She now calls herself Umprofethi Zanemvulakazi. She advises people on herbal and natural medicines and healing. She is all about spirituality and living a pure life. "I advise people on manifesting their lives, I advise them on spirituality and healing, good and bad spirits, karma, and just how to live a righteous life,' she said.
