CHRISTMAS PLANS FOR AMAZA
The seasoned MC and broadcaster says while most people will be travelling back to their hometown, he is going to be working. "The festive season is a busy time for me as one of the most booked MCs and program directors. However, I always make time to balance work with moments of relaxation and connection with loved ones,' However the 42 year old said he is going to squeeze some time to spend with his family, in between his travels
'Yes, family is my anchor, and the festive season is the perfect time to unwind with them, even if it's just for a few days. It's all about quality time and creating lasting memories,'
He told ZiMoja that the best time to take leave and gets some rest for him is January.
'The best time for me to take leave is usually early January when things slow down, giving me a chance to recharge before the new year's commitments kick in.'
IMPORTANCE OF CHRISTMAS
Although he will be working on Christmas evening, he said during the day he is going to be with his family- he said he wouldn't miss it for annything, especially the delicious food. "Christmas is all about togetherness in our family. We gather, exchange gifts, enjoy good food and share stories from the year. It's a warm and joyful occasion. He also added that every year they have different themes, which depends on the year that was and they things they endured as family. He said because this year was tough for many people and many people were dying they decided on a theme that reflects that.
'This year's theme is 'Gratitude and Giving Back' .It's a reminder to appreciate what we have and extend generosity to those in need.
When asked about his role in the kitchen
'I may not be the main chef, but I play an active role in the kitchen- whether it's grilling, prepping, or being the official taster. It's always a team effort,' he laughed.
