Singer Mawhoo, real name Thandeka Ngema, and manager Noxolo Ngema had a fallout in 2024, which led the two to part ways. But the inseparable sisters have put their differences aside and are back to working together. However, Mawhoos' personal assistant and make-up artist, Kuhle Plaatjies, has now been given the boot.

Kuhle has been missing in action in all of Mawhoo's appearances, and her fans noticed. On social media, Kuhle's fans questioned why she is no longer seen with the Ngiyamthanda singer. A close friend revealed that Kuhle was fired due to unprofessional conduct and thinking she is friends with the boss. "They are not friends; Mawhoo is just really kind, but at the end of the day, she was at work and expected to deliver," the source said. Kuhle threatened to share the details of what transpired between her and Mawhoo but said she is not yet ready. "I am not okay; I am trying to be strong, but I am not okay,' Kuhle said. Mawhoo's manager and sister Noxolo confirmed that Kuhle was no longer working with them. "She's no longer with us, but I cannot divulge more. It's private information."

Kuhle previously worked for Babes Wodumo as a make-up artist, and the two fell out when she claimed the Wololo singer failed to pay for her services.  "She alleged that after doing two gigs for Babes, she stopped taking her calls.
