Singer and SA Idols judge JR Bogopa and his long-term partner, Tshepi Vundla, are officially a step closer to their white wedding. The couple celebrated their traditional nuptials in a small and private ceremony where JR's family welcomed their bride. According to sources close to the situation, the couple is gearing up for their white wedding.

DATE SET 

The source said the date has been set already. ZiMoja has learnt that the closely guarded wedding ceremony will take place around the festive season. The source, who is close to the families, said: "We can't share the details (of the wedding) because we had to sign a non-disclosure agreement." The beautiful bride also posted a picture of her and her hubby while being welcomed by her in-laws. She thanked her in-laws with a warm message. She wrote: "Thank you to the Bogopa family for the warmest welcome into their family. I and my family felt the love. I am very lucky that my in-laws are incredibly special people."

She also bragged about her mother-in-law for the special gift of the dress of her dreams. "My mum bought me the dress of my dreams for my wedding. Thank you so much, Mama. I love and appreciate you so much," she shared. Before her big day, Tshepi's friends threw her a tequila-themed bachelorette party. "I honestly had the best time and I am so grateful to every single person who made this party everything and more. I love and appreciate my people so much," she expressed. Earlier this year, after their successful lobola negotiations held in December last year, the couple hosted Ukwamkelo umkhenyana (a traditional ceremony to welcome JR as the groom and son-in-law to the Vundlas). The couple share two kids.
