Mzansi's two famous traditional healers, Tumi Motsoeneng, who is famously known as Gogo Skhotheni, and Gogo Maweni have kissed and made-up after weeks of going back and forth and making accusations against each other on social media.
THE SOCIAL MEDIA WAR HAS STOPPED
Real name, Makgotso Makopo, Maweni also shared how embarrassed she is of her behaviour and the things she said. "We were both aware of the situation and the things we said to each other; we spoke and made peace," she said. The two ladies promised to have a date at Gogo's Skhotheni nightclub. She even made a joke that Maweni must come and spend her 'tokoloshe' money on expensive bottles of champagne.
NO MEN CAME BETWEEN TO HELP THEM
They also mentioned that the credit doesn't go to their husbands, who are also friends. "Those two must not dare take credit; they did not bring us together. This was our planning," Maweni said. A source close to the situation said someone had to intervene because their fight was getting uglier and personal. "The other sangoma had to intervene because they were afraid that the ongoing conflict would affect their business credibility," added the source. The feud was fuelled by a conversation on Maweni's livestream with social media influencer Dominic Zaca, and it quickly escalated into heated exchanges between the two sangomas. At the centre of the feud was a claim made by Maweni and her friends that Skhotheni's husband, Monde, was asked to sleep with Dominic. Skhotheni vehemently denied the allegations, accusing Maweni of lying. She also fired back by claiming that Maweni wears fake Gucci and does not own her cars.
