Lucky Tlale known on radio, TV and behind the scenes as LTK has taken off the broadcaster mask to put on his musician hat on as Musiqal Dash.
HIS TRUE LOVE
Making music is nothing new to him as he was waiting for the right time to share his skill. But this year he returns to his first true love, which is making music, offering his new single Joy, Snare Ncalu. "This is my first offering as an independent artist, having worked on collaborations with several artists previously. This marks my official solo journey under my record label LTK Media Holdings,' he told ZiMoja.
The two-time winner of the Best Afternoon Radio Presenter for his show on SABC's Motsweding FM, MC, TV personality and podcaster said he wanted to make songs of hope that give a positive message. "This song gives hope to all those going through trying times and is to inspire them to never give up, he added.
NO CHOOSING
Born in a small remote village called Matlhonyane in Mahikeng, he was raised by phenomenal women, his mother and great-grandmother. "Some of the teachings I hold close to my heart amongst others was to never give up and always be humble.' He graduated from North West University with a BA in Communication. "I have been on radio for 16 years to date and this is my ninth year on the drive time show.' He would not choose between radio and music, even If a gun was pointed at his head. "I wouldn't choose either one because there is always a link between the two,' he said. "They are somewhat cousins.' In the future, he plans to work with major artists such as Msaki, "for her unmatched writing and storytelling.'
