Amapiano stars butt heads over hit song

Tyler ICU and Nandipha808 are beefing over the hit song Mnike

As the Amapiano song Mnike continues to permeate the dance floors of every club in the country and topping the trends on TikTok challenges, there's drama behind the scenes. This is as Tyler ICU is said to have exchanged strong words with Nandipha808, who claims that the song was produced by him and that he was never credited for his work.

HEATED SCUFFLE

The pair apparently had a heated argument when Nandipha808 confronted Tyler about not being given credit for his work on the song. "They had a massive argument about why Nandipha808 wasn't credited for his work. Tyler can't offer an explanation as to why he didn't credit him for the song. This is why Nandipha is so peeved," an insider said. Although the song is a hit song, because Nandipha808 is not credited as the producer of the song, he is not entitled to any financial gain from the song. Another insider said, "He won't make any money whatsoever, because he is not credited as the one who produced the song, which is one of the things that upset him," another insider alleges.

NO SOLUTION

They apparently haven't found a solution to their problem because Tyler isn't taking this seriously, which also irks Nandipha 808. "There's no resolution yet to their problem. But Nandipha has vowed to fight for what he says is rightfully his and is adamant that he won't be cheated out of his royalties because he is the one who produced the song for Tyler," said the insider. When approached for comment, Sony Music declined to comment on the matter. Nandipha808 and TylerICU didn't respond to calls and messages sent to them.
