The Durban-born Makhoba, made a name for himself on the drama series Isibaya and Shaka Ilembe, where he played the part of Ngomane.
GAME-CHANGING OPPORTUNITY
The actor, who is also an author, music composer and producer, said he is excited about the role he will be playing at TS Galaxy. Makhoba said: "Joining the TS Galaxy family is an honour. This club is more than football, it represents ambition, resilience and the spirit of unity, all of which
resonate deeply with me. I look forward to an incredible journey with the club and its fans." "Mondli brings unparalleled passion, pride, and authenticity that perfectly align with our club's values," said TS Galaxy Chairman Tim Sukazi. "This partnership is a game-changer and we're excited about what lies ahead."
THEIR LUCKY CHARM
It remains to be seen if Makhoba will be the team's good luck charm like Gogo Esther Mahlangu, who has been gracing the team's games in Mpumalanga. When Mahlangu attended a TS Galaxy and Kaizer Chiefs Nedbank Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium in 2019, The Rockets won their first-ever domestic cup by beating Amakhosi. After their striker Zakhele Lepasa scored a penalty, Sukazi invited Gogo Mahlangu to celebrate the team lifting the trophy during that night.
