The former 7de Laan actress passed away on Thursday surrounded by family. Her husband, Schalk Cornelessen confirmed her passing. "RIP my beautiful, beautiful loving, wife," he shared the news on social media. Karen Tallie, who was her agent said she passed on in Cape Town in the early hours of Thursday morning, and her family needed time to process the grief.

DEVASTATING

Born in Cape Town and raised in Bonteheuwel, and Bloemfontein. Crystal-Donna completed her BA degree in drama and theatre from the University of the Free State. She starred in the Afrikaans productions Die Boland Moorde, Fraksie, Die Byl, Die Spreeus, Fynskrif, Mense Mense, and Montana to name a few. She worked alongside award-winning Film producer Roberta Durrant of Penguin Films who said they were devastated by the passing. "An absolute professional, modest despite her unique and exceptional talent,' she said.
