Top radio personality calls out an interior designer for failing to deliver

Mapaseka Mokwele said she will never use the services of the interior designer again

They say support local businesses but it seems like seasoned journalist, TV and radio personality Mapaseka Mokwele won't be supporting any local businesses anytime soon. This is after a well-known interior designer, Mooriseng Mangena of Ka Gae failed to deliver her services as promised.

FRUSTRATED

She shared her frustration and disappointment on her Instagram. "I'm absolutely fed up with Mororiseng from Ka Gae," she wrote. She said it has been two months of chasing after the designer without any help. "It's been almost two months since I paid for her services and still nothing has been delivered. Each week, I've been given a new excuse, none of which holds any water. I've been more than patient. This level of unprofessionalism is beyond acceptable,' she said. She expressed that the lack of communication is one thing that is frustrating her the most. "It's one thing to dela, but the lack of communication and blatant disregard for commitments is just disrespectful.'

EMPTY PROMISES

She said after empty promises she no longer wants any story but her money back. "At this point, I don't care for more excuses; I just want my money. I should not have to chase down a service that's been paid for and I certainly shouldn't have to deal with the constant runaround.' Mapaseka also vowed to never recommend the designer's services to anyone. "If you can't deliver on your promises, don't take people's money! I won't be recommending Ka Gae or Mororiseng to anyone and I suggest others avoid them at all costs,' she added. When called for a comment, Ka Gae owner Mangena said she was disappointed in Mapaseka for putting her on blast, especially because the media personality is the one who is never available. However, she acknowledged her fault was hers initially. "I did her house and there was some stuff I couldn't find from my suppliers, but eventually the cargo arrived, and I told her, but she has not made time," Mangena said. She also told ZiMoja that as much as she is disappointed in Mapaseka posting about her business, she fully understands her frustrations. "I won't even dwell on that much. I did apologise to her but there was nothing I could have done, as I was also frustrated. I am willing to pay her money, which is R4 000 back," said Mangena.
