TS Galaxy FC boss Tim Sukazi has confirmed that young defender Samukelo Kabini (20) is finalising his move to play in Norway. Kabini looks set to move to join Molde FK, even though Sukazi said he could name the team because of a confidentiality clause.
BIG MOVES FOR KABINI
With the transfer window set to close on March 27, both clubs are expected to finalise the agreement soon, which includes transfer fees and Kabini's salary. Galaxy is said to be charging Molde FC more than R10 million for Kabini's signature. With the start of the 2025 Eliteserien penned for March 29, the former Orlando Pirates defender looks certain to ply his trade in Norway. Speaking to Ikwekwezi FM today, Sukazi said he was personally happy, and we are happy as TS Galaxy because of the promises we made years ago as TS Galaxy.
A PROMISE KEPT
Sukazi said during the interview that TS Galaxy committed to sending a player from KwaNdebele to join a team in a higher-level overseas league. "His roots in KwaNdebele fill us with immense pride, and we are confident he will represent us with great honour. I'm happy personally, and we are happy as TS Galaxy because of the promises we made years ago as TS Galaxy," he said. The cherry on top for Kabini is that he has been named in the preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
