He was on the way from Johannesburg to Rustenburg, driving on the N4 highway at the weekend when he was almost hijacked. Singer and former pop idol Preston "Presss' Sihlangu survived and escaped unharmed after an attempted hijacking and robbery.

HIJACKING

He said the incident was horrifying, but he got away unharmed. "I want to take an opportunity to reach out to all my fans and supporters following last night's unsettling incident on the N4 while en route to Rustenburg for work,' he said. "While I cannot disclose the specific details of what transpired, I can reassure you that I am okay. BAD PRESS

Presss recently parted ways with social media influencer Dineo Moloisane after reports of infidelity. He also made some headlines for his failure to show up to several gigs, one in the Free State and one on Valentine's Day in Mpumalanga. Presss has since not commented on the gigs, but said he was still traumatised by the attempted hijacking, but he will recover.
