Olga Meshoe-Washington, the late daughter of the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) president Reverend Kenneth Meshoe, will be buried in Israel. Olga, who was married to Joshua David Washington, almost eight years ago, died on 6 January at a United States hospital after she was diagnosed with lupus. She will be buried on 22 January at Tel Regev Cemetery, Rekhasim, in Jerusalem, Israel.

HER HUSBAND'S REQUEST 

The burial will be held in Israel, as per the request of her husband, Joshua. Who said his wife would be buried amongst the patriarchs and warriors of Zion. Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI) founder and CEO Dumisani Washington wrote on Facebook: "First, I want to thank all of those who have expressed their condolences on the passing of my daughter-in-law and senior staff member, Olga Meshoe-Washington. IBSI and the Washington family appreciate each of you. Next, we are announcing the scheduled events to honour Olga's life. Olga's body will be buried in Israel as per her husband Joshua's request. We want to thank all who are involved with this very intricate process."

MEMORIAL TO BE HELD EKURHULENI

Those in South Africa who will not be able to attend her funeral, which will be more than 6,000 kilometres away, will be able to attend her memorial service. The memorial service will be held on January 26 at the Hope of Glory Tabernacle in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni. The last part of the memorial service to be attended by her fellow church members, friends, and family in the US will be held on 13 March.The Fort Mill memorial service will be held at Antioch International Church, Fort Mill, in South Carolina, USA.
