Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, who is an Ukhozi FM presenter and founder of Crown Gospel Awards, is no more.
The iconic radio presenter died at Parklands Hospital after succumbing to stage 4 lung cancer early on Monday morning. She would have turned 53 n November 7.

?It is with a heavy heart that we the Nkambule and Mbokazi family announce the passing of our dearly beloved Ms Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, founder of Crown Gospel Music Awards & Ukhozi FM radio personality,? said the statement.
?She departed to be with the Lord; early hours of 12 August 2024, at Parklands Hospital. We are grateful for all the prayers, love and support we received throughout her illness,? added the statement. Her family has also asked for their privacy during the grieving period.
?The family would appreciate privacy as we navigate through this challenging time,? said Bishop Nkambule.
WORKING WITH GOSPEL ARTISTS
In June, Zimoja reported that there was a prayer meeting that was arranged by her church members, gospel artists and other media stakeholders for her speedy recovery. She worked with hundreds of gospel musicians across the country and condolences have also started to pour in after her passing.
