Top actress Brenda Ngxoli is trending in a video where she accused her family, specifically her mother, of physical and emotional abuse.
As a way of protecting herself, the actress recorded her mother and herself exchanging words in her rural home in the Eastern Cape.
HER WORST NIGHTMARE
When the renowned actress left the hustling and bustling life of Jozi for rural areas in search of peace and tranquility, she had no idea that her worse nightmare would be her own family.
During Mac G's Podcast and Chill last year, Ngxoli revealed her life story, claiming allegations of family abuse and toxicity that she had to endure for a long time.
Ngxoli chose to take a video of evidence to show how her mother was abusing her.
She posted an altercation between the two of them. In the video the actress is exposed her seemingly angry mother who threatened to beat her up with a stick while the actress is carry her daughter. Her mother is seen hurling insults at her.
According to a source close Ngxoli, the actress even extended her mother's house so that she and her daughter could have a peace of mind, but her mother is still harassing her.
Ngxoli also said she might take her mother to court for defamation of character and added that her mother was constantly beating her. She said she has never laid her hands on her mother.
She said the good thing is that she shared that villagers and other family members came through for her.
A GRATEFUL HEART
Before posting the video of an altercation with her mother, on Saturday. she posted a video of herself training at a gym. She explained in a caption her plans: "I was saved from the shacks with my child whilst I was facing family issues with a newborn in hand alone. Many came to my rescue. Ndiyabulela."
On a positive note, she also explained in her Facebook timeline that she would be back on TV since she has been working with a production company that has taken care of her health issues.
"But needless to say I was booked in Hyde Park for about 8 months and 3 months in a Guest House. Had a personal trainer whilst being assisted with my weight loss journey as the character was not a mafutha as I was.Producers paid for All of Sky's needs. They paid for weight loss injections and drips. Fully furnished the apartment and then gifted me all the furniture when shoot was done, dropped me off in Xolobe with rabbits and chickens for Sky," said Ngxoli.
