Pearl Thusi's eldest daughter is almost ready to leave home for university, and the actress and TV presenter says her focus right now is to enjoy motherhood. She said dating is not on the cards for her right now.

Pearl recently bagged a reality TV show on BET titled The Real Pearl Thusi, where she lets viewers into her life and shares her vulnerabilities, friendships, relationships, and motherhood. "The reality star of the show is my daughter Thando,' she said. She will also debunk some myths and gossip about her life. She also plans to share about losing her mom when she was only 15 years old and her dad in 2020.

She said she is currently not in a relationship. "At the moment, I am not dating anyone, genuinely. If I was, I would have to get the person's consent to put them on the show. I am not interested in dating; my main focus is my children," she said. She added: "I'm evolving; I'm coming off age; my daughter Thando is coming off age; she's about to leave the nest. So, I'm trying to catch up and do everything with her before she leaves. Her first tattoo, belly ring, and anything she wants,' Pearl said. "A relationship right now is not on the cards. I conduct myself in a very intense way when I'm with someone, and I don't think as a mother, it is a healthy decision to date anyone right now. Thando needs me; I need her too. If I date anyone, they would have a lot to put on the table, and they can't take anything away from me because I have my children," she said.
