Mzansi becomes Rick Ross' second home

US rapper Rick Ross has made South Africa his second home. The Aston Martin hit-maker, who has featured in Kwesta's video shot in one of Ekurhuleni's townships, has been booked for a show this time around.


MAKING A RETURN TO MZANSI

 

Ricky Rick, who is brought by Blue Screen Entertainment, will be performing at Durban Music Fest on May 3 at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium.

Popular South African artists who will be curtain raiders for the show are Mawhoo, DJ Tira, DJ Sox, Gatsheni, Dlala Thukzin and Blxckie, amongst others. 

Tickets for the show will go on sale on sale on Friday, February 14. An excited event organiser Gregory Wings said bringing Rick Ross to South Africa is a this landmark event for his company.

Marketing manager for Blue Screen Entertainment said, "We are thrilled to be bringing Rick Ross to South Africa as part of our commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences. This show marks the first of five major international events we will host in South Africa this year. We are proud to operate our shows through strong local partnerships and we aim to create 30 000 jobs for South Africans surrounding these events."
