Motormouth and celebrity blogger Musa Khawula appeared at the Randburg Magistrate's Court today where he faces charges of hate speech, crimen injuria and violation of the Cyber Crime Act. His lawyer Ofentse Nkgwang asked the court for copies of the docket to prepare for his trial. Nkgwang also mentioned that he has no plans to apply for bail. 

He told court that his client abandoned bail so that they can prepare for trial.

FOUL PLAY 

But Khawula did not hold back. He updated his followers on his X (previouslyTwitter) account that that a lot has happened since he got arrested in January. He wrote that so much has transpired since 13 January 2025.

He implied that after his apology to businessman Zee Nxumalo, whom he accused of cheating on his wife former Miss SA Green, a lot happened.

"We have since learned that 'Mr I didn't cheat on my pregnant wife' paid the investigating officer an amount of up to R 75 000 to ensure that I am kept in custody, " he said.

ASKING FOR DONATIONS FROM BEHIND BARS

He claimed that the same corrupt officers asked him for money, but he couldn't pay. 

He continued: "A b&*ch is always broke obviously we couldn't match or offer more to the nasty officer."

He also threw jabs at ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula, who is also a victim of his verbal attacks. 

"With 'Mr I didn't cheat on my pregnant wife' ( Zee Nxumalo) having opened the initial case, we've seen ' the youthful man of the ruling party with grey hair who got circumcised at the age of 41 due to peer pressure' add his case also stating that his wife suffered so much bullying by us publishing that his wife and her criminal friends indeed stealth (sic) about 45 million from the state hence they are being investigated by the state," he added.

Khawula said he is in position where he could ask for help but he doesn't want to impose on people, however, those who can assist him can feel free to help. He said: "If you are in a position to donate some coins, here are my account details...."
