The five-bedroom, two-story house in Waterkloof, Pretoria, first went up for auction in 2023 after Nedbank approached the High Court to execute the auction due to them owing R9 million in unpaid bond. The home went up again and was meant to be auctioned today. However, the auctioneers announced to potential buyers that Nedbank had received instruction from Nedbank Limited to cancel today's auction scheduled for 11h00, on-site.
HALTED
In an email sent to buyers, the auctioneers did not go into details as to what led to the cancellation; however, they said they received instruction from the Sheriff and Nedbank to halt the auction. " Five bedroom double-story home in Waterkloof Pretoria in conjunction with the sheriff of the high court Pretoria South East Gauteng Division in the matter between Nedbank Limited (Execution Creditor and Nompumelelo Thandeka Mophatlane, Christian Klagsbruin and Lamile Isaac Mphatlane has been cancelled," the auction sated.
