She believes the hand that gives shall also receive. Limpopo singer Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona has through her foundation visited seven schools in Limpopo and donated school shoes and shared words of encouragement with learners.

NEVER GIVE UP

The singer's charity drive started in Vuwani Complex on Wednesday and travelled to different schools to share her journey of success and encouragement with the learners. "I am passionate about giving back, I know what it's like to struggle and be poor,' she told ZiMoja. "I want the learners to know that anything is possible If you believe it, I am an example of that and I never gave up.'

GRATITUDE

The charity drive was a build-up to her One Woman Show taking place today. Makhadzi says she has achieved a lot this year and giving back is her way of showing gratitude. "It's my way of saying thank you to the people who have been supporting me,' she says. "I would not have made it to the US and be a BET Award winner without the people in the villages and community, so I have no choice but to give back and say thank you.'
