SA idol star Karabo Mogane and his wife Sinesipho celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary recently. The 2015 Idols SA winner spoke to ZiMoja about the thrills of marriage. The star reflected on being a husband, a father and a man who wants to see his family thrive.
BEING A HUSBAND FULFILS HIM
He said he never expected that his life would turn out the way it did and that he loves every minute. "I'm blessed to have the life I have. I have a partner who understands me and knows who I am. When I paid lobola for her, I knew I was going in the right direction," he said. The couple got married in a lavish wedding in Muldesdrift on 29 September 2021. They also have a daughter named Pheyolo together. "I count my blessings every day and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have to be a husband and a father," he said. On their anniversary, his wife also took to Instagram and wrote: "Three years in marriage and ours is still my favourite love story. Wherever you are is home."

Karabo added that his smile is always brought by his daughter, who lights up his life and it's something he wouldn't change for anything. "She helps with everything that happens in life. When I come home and I see that smile, she makes my day complete for me." Karabo told ZiMoja that whatever he does, he takes his family into consideration, as he knows that his actions will affect them, especially his wife. "I try my best as a husband; I know that being a husband means that I'm a mirror to my wife, that she emulates life, so I'm always careful to always be the best husband and father that I can be," he concluded.
