Her estranged husband and the father of her children Mongezi 'Toll A$$' Mahlangu recently came out to announce that he and Mome Nale were in the process s of getting a divorce. Since his public declaration, Mome has remained silent about the separation. However, the mom of three has admitted that it's been one tough journey of self-introspection.

STRONGER THAN EVER

Mome has finally broken the silence about her survival after Mongezi moved out of their home and allegedly started dating again. The author, wellness aficionado and mom of three said the last few months were about surviving pain. "When pain knocks on your door, welcome it and let it In," she advises. "Then, sit with it. I sat with it on my own for five months. I had tea with it so I could understand it and its purpose in my life for my personal growth and mental well-being," she adds. "Now I have chosen to let it out of me to avoid storing anger in my beautiful soul. I have gained a healed and calmer version of me. I am full of love and kindness." Mome adds that above all she is stronger. "I feel good and lighter. Things have to hurt before they heal so allow it in no rush. When everyone left, God stayed. So, I fear nothing. I continue to take care of my kids and our household nothing takes away from who I am inside and outside."

TROUBLE IN PARADISE

Mongezi and Mome were married for 11 years. They seemed like the perfect family, a beautiful house and kids. They have overcome what many couples would struggle with, from infidelity to allegations of rape and disputes with the in-laws. But reality TV star, gamer and comedian, Mongezi spoke about how rocky their marriage had been after model Lerato Moloi accused him of rape while they were on a work trip in the Western Cape. The model said in a statement that the incident happened in 2014. "In 2014, I was sexually assaulted and raped by Toll A$$ Mahlangu while working on a television production in Paarl, Western Cape. For numerous reasons, I did not open a case at the time and only shared this experience with one of the other participants on the show" she said at the time. The rape allegations led to Toll A$$ Mo being "cancelled" by society, and it resulted in him not being able to make an income to support his wife and three children. In August 2022, he was found not guilty. Through all of this, the couple stayed together with Mome even being judged by social media for staying with an alleged rapist at the time.
