The family of Ukhozi FM contributor Zamaweza "Zuluglamour" Mthalane (35) has confirmed that she passed away on Sunday at the Dr. Pixley KaSeme Memorial Hospital. According to the family, the bubbly personality died from meningitis.
SHORT ILLNESS
Zuluglamour's brother confirmed that the Sigiya Ngengoma contributor and the reporter had severe headaches a few weeks before being hospitalised. "She had been complaining of an unbearable headache; she took painkillers, but they didn't work," he said. "She eventually went to see a doctor where she was admitted; after some scans, they discovered she had meningitis. We lost her on Sunday afternoon."
FRIENDS
Close friends remember her as a talented presenter. "She had a bright future ahead of her; she worked hard and was passionate about her craft," said Zama Ntuli. "We will miss her daily. She was kind and had a bright future." She joined Ukhozi FM last year after a successful podcast.
