Earlier this year, he announced his new management company under well-known talent scout and businessman Siya Mdluli. But rapper Emtee, real name Mthandeni Ndevu and Siya have parted ways after a fallout.

SEPARATE WAYS

When Emtee and Siya joined forces, the two had big plans. Emtee announced that for the first time, he got to have his manager under his label. The relationship also got him a distribution deal with Empire Africa, which he has since accused of not doing anything for him since he signed with them a year ago. But Emtee will be releasing his album DIY3 through Empire Africa this week.  "Ladies and gentlemen, meet my new manager Siya Mdluli. My first-ever official manager with experience and a whole lot of wisdom. Trying to work? Hala at my dawg Siya Mdluli. It's been a long time coming and things are starting to make sense. Grateful,' he said excitedly at the time.

NEW PROJECT

An insider has revealed that the two have since fallen out and all contracts terminated. "Siya could not handle it anymore,' a friend said. "He had plans for Emtee- to get him back in the game and clean up his brand slightly, but by July, he was already tired and they went their separate ways,' the friend revealed. The friend also said Emtee is not an easy guy to manage. "You need to have patience and almost babysit him. They fought about small things and decided to part ways.' Emtee was previously signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment and said he experienced some of the toughest challenges of his life after leaving the label. "I always try my best to not step out of character. So, even when I was feeling mad and like 'How can they do this to me', at the same time, I would tell myself to walk away and close that chapter. Do not talk to people who will gas me up, just keep it moving. I have two beautiful kids to focus on and a family.' Both Emtee and Siya could not be reached for comments.
