Her divorce left her with almost nothing and having to pick up the pieces. Bubbly TV presenter and actress Denise Zimba has in the past not addressed the real reasons behind the highly publicised divorce to German husband, Jakob Schlichtig. The former VUZU star has since shared how her former best friend allegedly ruined her marriage.

REVELATIONS

Denise vented on social media saying, she never saw it coming. " Nothing worse than finding out your best friend since you were 14 years old, has been having an affair with your husband,' she said. " And that's why she always ghosted you when you were pregnant and never celebrated you - birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers …' Denise went on to share a picture of her husband and the said former friend by the name of Mpumi Mdluli on social media, with the caption. "These pictures land really differently now. The day of my wedding, your speech, just two years ago. Little did I know.' Fans consoled Denise and pleaded she not air her dirty laundry further. Her friend and ex-husband have remained mum despite several efforts to reach them.

Denise revealed how she was betrayed by those close to her. Reports stated that Denise caught her ex-husband "playing with himself' while on the phone with another woman. After, she noticed other red flags when he refused to buy an airplane ticket for her mother to travel to Germany to assist with the kids. Instead, he paid €900 to the vet for his ill cat. "The best thing I could have ever done for myself was to walk away,' she said. "In this past year alone, I lost my family that I gave so much of myself to have. Close friends betrayed me at levels I cannot even comprehend. Those I loved the most and held close to my heart abandoned me and did not choose me. I am blessed with another year of life, reminding me how precious life truly is. And that you can always start over and try again. I am excited to do things differently and not betray myself again.'
