The robbers will appear in court on Monday

Actors and crew members of TV drama My Brother?s Keeper were robbed at gunpoint on Thursday evening. The real life dramatic incident occurred in the sleepy town of Zuurbekom after the crew and actors knocked off from location. They had just left the production house in a vehicle full of actors and crew when four robbers, who were driving a Datsun Go, pointed guns at the driver.

SHOOT OUT WITH POLICE

After the driver stopped, the robbers took their cellphones and other personal belongings from the team and then sped off.

One of the victims said they were able to trace a cellphone of one of the actors. The police were called and the flying squad tracked the car in Protea Glen where a shootout ensued between the robbers and the cops. After the robbers had been cornered, two of them were shot and rushed to the hospital where they are under heavy police guard.

A crew member, who wished to remain anonymous, said they suspect an inside job and "We are even scared of working until late now after this incident. What if they come back again? Remember we are trying to shoot the last parts of the drama because it has been discontinued from this year.

So we don't know if we will be working as from next week because our safety is compromised since we work until late."

After Ndlovu?s arrest, he has been using private guys to guard the production team. The security company quit in November after Ndlovu?s company failed to pay.
