OUTCRY OVER STEEP TICKET PRICES
After Big Concerts announced ticket prices, Chris Brown started to top social media trends, as a raging debate about the soaring ticket prices ensued with some saying that the prices were expensive. However, despite people's dissatisfaction about the prices, Big Concerts has not changed the prices. The ticket prices range from R600 to just over R6,000 for VVIP tickets. Fans took to social media to react to steep ticket prices. @Vhoyde wrote: Christ Brown didn't come here to abuse me. He came to perform, not abuse." @pozrpics1 weighed in and wrote, "I knew the day would come where I compare my concert tickets; Lil Wayne General was R600 in 2011." @keitumetsi_MD wrote: "Chris Brown tickets are nothing compared to what I paid to see Beyonce. That's why she hasn't come here."
NO OPENING ACTS?
There hasn't been any announcement on the opening acts for the star. In a social media post, the concert organisers, Big Concerts, said: "We will not be having any opening acts for him. He's going to be performing for his fans and he looks forward to being in the country after ten years of absence from the country."
