'She is lost and is going to hell with the congregation'

Lungi M taking legal action against Brother Enigma

New internet sensation Brother Enigma, real name Phillip Poniponi Thosa, has, for the past three months, been claiming to have been receiving revelations from heaven instructing him to warn people on earth about their ways. While some believe him, many others consider his words farfetched. He recently criticised a female pastor and said they dress skimpily and need to repent. He then followed by criticising Pastor Lungi M, whom he also said dresses skimpily. However, the pastor will not be taking the matter lightly.

COVER UP

In an episode on the Podcast Chris Network, Brother Enigma criticises Pastor Lungi M's dress code, calling it skimpy and inappropriate for a woman standing in a pulpit. This comes after he condemned women from owning churches, being pastors and women wearing trousers at church. He said, Lungi M dressed like a mermaid, showing her hips. "She wears wigs and jeans, showing her figure,' he said. "She is lost and is going to hell with the congregation," Enigma said.

Pastor Lungi M has threatened to take the matter seriously with her legal team. "If they advise that what he is saying is defamatory and demeaning, then I will definitely take the matter further with my legal team,' she told ZiMoja. "I can't let something like that slide. The Lord says come as you are. Whether people wear skirts or pants, they are coming as they are.'

WARNINGS

Pastor Lungi M is not the first person to receive feedback from Brother Enigma. He has warned the likes of singer Rebecca Malope, Lebo Sekgobela, Minnie Dlamini, and cross-dresser pastor November. Pastor November heard the warning and burnt his crossdressing outfits and said he would focus on preaching the word of God. Brother Enigma has asked those he warned not to go ahead with lawsuits. "I'm just spreading the message. There is no need for a lawsuit," he said.
