TV actor Tumisho Masha has spoken about how he lost everything when he was fighting to divorce his ex-wife Zozibini Mtonga.
He said he lost his house, his work as an actor and a voice artist while fighting off allegations that he was abusive.
HE COULDN?T WORK UNTIL HE WAS CLEARED
The film, TV actor and producer is currently appearing on Mzansi Magic drama, Champions, told a podcast host how he struggled to get TV and film gigs.
"They said no we can?t work with Tumisho anymore until he is cleared, then he can come back," said Masha.
The Saints & Sinners lead said production companies were deliberately avoiding working with him until he had been cleared.
He said that's why he thanks God that he went through the court processes and was never found guilty.
HIS SIDE OF THE STORY
After divorcing Mtonga in 2016, he fought a new battle - to get full custody to their daughter. After winning his custody battle in September last year, Masha took to Twitter to put a side of his story.
He wrote, "I have been in and out of courts every year, since our separation, this in her continued efforts to not only defame my name and my ability to earn an income as a public figure but also to destroy my character as a man and most importantly to deny me my rights as a father in fulfilling my fatherly duties towards my child. This in a continued effort to alienate me from my daughter despite my child's continued desire to want to spend equal time with both parents." Masha, who is currently married to Chantel Wagner, tied the knot with her in 2021 after being together for four years.
Before marrying Mtonga, Masha was married to Angela Masha who passed away.
