South African actor Khulu Skenjane is the latest celebrity to join UMkhonto Wesizwe Party. Skenjane, who is known for his roles in popular TV shows, follows in the footsteps of singer Sjava ,who joined the growing controversial party a few months ago.

BRINGING ABOUT CHANGES IN THE COMMUNITY 

Skenjane confirmed the news to ZiMoja without getting into too many details. He said: "It is what it. I have joined the party." Asked when he joined, he said, "It doesn't matter when I joined, but I have joined...that's all that matters," he said. He added that he joined the party as he believes that MK Party has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of ordinary South Africans and to bring about change in communities.

He added that he is proud to be a member of the party and looks forward to working with fellow members to create positive change. Skhenjane's decision to enter politics is not uncommon among South African celebrities. Over the years, many public figures have used their fame to advocate for various causes and to bring attention to important issues. Skenjane's decision to join the party has been welcomed by many who believe that his celebrity status will help. UMkhonto Wesizwe Party, a political party that was formed by Jabulani Khumalo in 2019 and was registered with the Independent Electoral Commission last year September.
