He retired from acting during the Covid-19 pandemic, but his fans convinced him to go back to entertaining them. Seasoned comedian, actor, and businessman Alfred Ntombela (53) shared how his past heartbreak led him to find his true love.

PREVIOUS MARRIAGE

He is happily married with kids. His first relationsip never worked out. Speaking on the Happy Dayz podcast, he shared how heartbreak was just a lesson. "I was with a woman whom I thought he would be my wife. I paid lobola after she gave birth to our child," he said. However, it was uncomfortable for him because she went to give birth at home in the rural areas. "Things happened, we fought and separated." He then moved on to another relationship. "I then found someone else who made things worse. She cheated." He detailed how the relationship was ruined by cheating. "All the money I gave her funded the boyfriend's home as well," he said. He worked at a company and would give the wife money to his wife. "She took the money and bought things for the boyfriend's home."

FINDING LOVE AGAIN

But he later met someone whom he married. "I then met someone at church, who had gone through the same journey and experienced the same things as me," he said. "The hurt I had experienced was all a lesson. It was traumatic, but necessary," he added.

HAPPY FAMILY

He prides himself on raising happy children. "I have the happiest and craziest family, with no anger or resentment," he said. In 2021, Alfred said he had fallen in love with his wife, 16 years ago. " I loved her 16 years ago and now and forever," he said.
