Gogo Maweni was remanded in custody on Monday after appearing in court on charges of assault GBH. According to the SAPS, the famous traditional healer is accused of assaulting a relative of her ex-lover in 2019, but members of the cold case unit only arrested her on Sunday. WEIGHING-IN

"She might walk free,' she said. "I believe she will come out and be free. But the truth will come out one day." She added there was more to it than meets the eye. "I feel sorry for her. We did not start this; she is the one who did, but she and I made peace.' Precious added that she knew Gogo Maweni's good side. "Despite everything that has happened and my husband's case, I also know her good side,' she said. "Everyone makes mistakes. What is happening is painful for her and her family; she's a mother.'
