Former artist manager Nhlamulo "Nota' Baloyi (34) was sent to jail a year after he was found guilty of violating a court order. He was instructed to refrain from sharing information implicating musician Ntokozo "K.O' Mdluli in the assassination of rapper Kiernan "AKA' Forbes. Earlier this month, police pounced on Nota while in court facing charges of rape.
LOCKED UP
He spent two weeks of the 60 days behind bars and although he said it's a place where no one should set foot, he described his time in jail almost like a caged vacation. "Among serial killers, mass murderers, rapists, scammers, fraudsters and all manner of deplorable characters, your goat was the biggest rockstar,' he said. "Inside I had my meals brought to me, my clothes ironed every morning from the day I arrived, to a bed waiting for me until my release.'
He advised his social media followers not to land up in prison. " It's worse than hell there, avoid it at all cost!"
THE RAPE CASE
Nota, however, still faces charges of rape, after former Rhythm City actress Itumeleng Bokaba accused him of sexual misconduct and is currently out on R5 000 bail. Itumeleng opened a case of rape at the Douglasdale police station. Itumeleng said the rape impacted her life negatively on a professional and personal front. "This has not only affected my career, but it has also had a negative impact on my mental health. I also had to leave my job because of everything,' she told ZiMoja. Nota has denied raping the actress saying they had consensual sex and things took a turn when Boitumelo tried to blackmail him into promoting her music.
