Award-winning vocalist and producer TNS is set to release a new body of work titled God First, all about gratitude.?

?The past five years have been filled with ups and down for vocalist and producer Nkazimulo ?TNS' Ngema. Earlier this year, he almost lost his life when he became a target following a shooting incident that took place on New Year's Eve. Before that, his home was broken into, and he lost valuable studio equipment and some music he had taken months to record. More than a year ago, the mother of his child, Nothando Mbatha was attacked and stabbed on the shoulder and leg in Kwa-Mashu. Last year, the Umona singer also opened up about attacking his girlfriend and apologised for the incident.

Hetells ZiMoja that with his EP, he needed to be closer to God and give gratitude as he keeps rising higher, overcoming all challenges. The project features a star-studded line-up of artists including the likes of Scelo, Zaba, Skillz, and Jojo, and he continues to empower his peers who are you and upcoming artists."There are many who have been planning my downfall but don't succeed. The melodies and the message of this project speak to your soul and bring you nearer to God almost in like prayer," he says. "The project also has a feeling of motivation to keep on believing in what you do and what you are called for." He chose the title "God First" to show gratitude. "I am coming out and expressing how faithful he's been to me. With this EP, I thank Him for keeping me under his wing and protecting me when the devil is trying so hard to take my soul away from me," he says. TNS has in the past produced music for Prince Kaybee, LaSoulMates, Busiswa, and Zanda Zakuza.
