Miss Rwanda 2016, Mutesi Jolly Nyampinga has revealed how Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana's company, Aurum Holdings offered her a lucrative international TV presenting deal to mingle with the likes of rapper Drake and Kylie J. According to Jolly, the show was to be produced streaming by service Netflix and TK Nkwana, one od Thabo Bester's aliases. Jolly was to be a co-host of the show with a salary of over R18 million ($3m). In her Instagram post, Jolly said she was "knocked over her feet" with pride when she was first told of the deal.

SAVED BY HER GOVERNMENT

Jolly said as a hustler, she was super excited and her mind told her "you have a big platform to launch yourself to the world and to unleash your potential". She said the contract was for $3-$4m for a renewable contract of three years. "When I asked why me, I was told they need an East African face and a certain physical stature to blend with the American duo," she wrote. "As a hustler that believes in the holy Bible, my instincts told me to look through it with a fine tooth comb. I requested the company profile, official invitation and hotel booking," she said. But Jolly says the deal sounded too good too be true that after she received all the documents from Aurum Holdings, she send the documents to the Rwandan authorities for advice. She was discouraged from travelling to South Africa for final auditions. Jolly says her government said the profile ?screamed' scam. Writing on her social media page, Jolly said she realised after news broke that Bester was the most wanted criminal in South Africa that he looked familiar and that both suspects were the people she had been communicating with. The list of Bester's would-be victims is widening with mostly beautiful women in the media, content producers and models being the most sought after by Bester. It is not known whether Bester had pitched any production with Netflix or whether Netflix had any business arrangements with him. Bester has shown interest mostly n beautiful women having raped and murdered his then girlfriend, model Nomfundo Tyhulu.

SA CELEBS WERE ALSO SOLD LIES

In this event Bester presented himself as Tom Motsepe based in New York. Bester posed as the "chairman" of 21st Century Media, a scam event and production company, which was made to look like a subsidiary of 21st Century Fox. He appeared at the media company launch via video link and pretended to be overseas on business all the while he was filming himself from Mangaung Prison. Other businesses Bester had interest in, include home building and renovations while his partner Dr Nandipha fronted a skin treatment clinic and women empowerment seminars.
