Their wedding was a surprise for almost everyone. No flamboyant wedding venue, no thrills and spills that you would expect from a wealthy family which has always portrayed luxury and wealth. Andile and Tamia Mpisane's wedding was just a standard ceremony with only family and close friends in their home where they signed a marriage certificate and went on with their lives

THE BABY AND BECOMING THE BOSS

Soon after that, they announced that they were expecting a baby. This is weeks after the Royal AM chairman had  welcomed a baby with influencer turned TV host Sithelo Shozi, who many thought he would end up walking down the aisle with but instead, he chose Tamia. For the first time after being married, Tamia opens up about life in her marriage and how things have changed now that she is a wife. Before getting married, she was a girl that people knew on social media as a small-time influencer. After the wedding announcement to Andile, she became an overnight sensation. She has now added soccer boss to her accolades as she is now Royal AM deputy chairlady.

CURATING HER LIFE

Speaking on her live social media broadcast, Tamia declares that she is not one to share details of her life. "To be honest, before I got married, I did go live a few times here and there. But as soon as I got married, I really had to change how I treat my social media accounts because I wasn't sure how to handle a lot of people and the attention,' she says. "It was a very big change. I know when and where to speak. I even struggle to post my day-to-day life on my stories," she adds. In another live broadcast she says, she prefers to sit, look pretty and not say much. "I know when to speak. I won't go live when I have nothing to talk about. I like to sit, look pretty, mind my business and keep quiet.'

WE WANT MORE!

Her fans would like her to open up more about her life and advised that she join a reality show like that of the Real Housewives Of Durban, but she declined. "I share what I feel like sharing when I remember to share it and I'm also a bit weird on camera. I am actually very shy,' she says. Tamia's husband was accused of being abusive towards the mother of his two children Sithelo and the family knew about it. "Let's start with when I was beaten into a pulp and had a miscarriage at the hands of my so-called "victim' in a room full of his family and friends. Rushed to the nearest hospital and treated like nothing ever happened," Sithelo claimed. During this time Tamia remained mum and Andile's mother, Shauwn Mkhize claimed to have never known or witnessed any abuse. "I have been made aware of allegations made against my son, Andile Mpisane by Sithole Shozi on her Instagram account. I do not take lightly these accusations given my history and strong stance against gender-based violence. I do not and will never condone violence in any form or nature,' Shauwn shared. "I would like to categorically state that neither myself nor my family has been witness to any alleged abuse. These allegations are false and defamatory. Given the nature, severity, and extent of these allegations, the matter has been referred to our legal team. It's of the utmost importance that the law takes its course.'
