A suspect has been nabbed for the disappearance of four-year-old Bogabo Poo, although she is still missing. SAPS spokesman Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed to Zimoja that the suspect was the last person to be seen with the child.He said the suspect was arrested on this morning in Boksburg North, Ekurhuleni.

ABDUCTED WHILE PLAYING AT A PARK

Bogabo went missing on Monday afternoon around 4pm. She was playing in Masoleng Park with her five-year-old friend. She was last seen wearing a cartoon "Sofia" purple vest, orange shorts and red and white flip flops.
"It is reported that a member of the community saw the suspect in Boksburg North and called the police who responded swiftly and arrested the suspect,'' said Masondo. The police would like to thank the community for working together with the police in the search for the suspect. The police are currently interviewing the suspect about the whereabouts of little Bokgabo," said Masondo.

WORRIED ABOUT HER GRANDCHILD

Bogabo's grandmother, Refilwe Poo told Zimoja, that they haven't heard anything from the police. "We know that there was a suspect arrested but we were told by the community. But we will not be at peace until the police come to us and tell us if the suspect has confessed about Bogabo's whereabouts," she said. Poo said they have sleepless nights and worry if she's eating wherever she is. "I  know she's confused and wondering where we are, I can only imagine her frustration. I wonder if they are treating her well, there's just so many scenarios playing in my head. I just want my bubbly grandchild back home," she said. She thanked the community for their support as well as all the taxi drivers that have plugged Bogabo on their taxis. "We've received a great deal of support and we don't feel alone, we appreciate everyone's time and effort.."
