Media personality Tshepi Vundla and IDOLS SA judge and producer Thabo 'Jr' Bogopa recently got married in a private ceremony in January 2023. The couple hosted uLwamkelo Lomkhwenyana (Welcoming of the groom) to his in-laws at a private venue with close friends and family after their lobola negotiations. 

TYING THE KNOT

 The parents of two; Sibabalwe Lehakwe and a daughter Liyema Leru Bogopa have been together for some years and sealed their union with wedding rings and a traditional gathering. The couple shared snaps of their traditional Xhosa wear attire by designer Asanda Madyibi for UyiNqaba Designs. "Honestly one of the best days of my life. Thank you to everyone that made our day everything and more.' Tshepi wrote on social media. 

OVERCOMING CRITICISM

 The couple was once criticised for choosing to take their time to tie the knot. In an interview with Podcast and Chill MacG Mukwevho, Jr noted that despite not being ready to get married, they are happy. "I need to clarify she is not my wife yet. I think it's very easy for guys to start dating someone for a couple of years and then start calling them their wife,' Jr Said. Mac G then teased him, calling their relationship "vat 'n sit' and Jr "Yeah, it's vat 'n sit, it's a loving relationship. You know what I mean? It's a family.'
