The listeners of popular Metro FM Touchdown with Tbo Touch show have expressed shock after the passing of the show's newsreader, Pearl Shongwe. Pearl was found  dead in her home in Polofields, Johannesburg.

MYSTERY AROUND HER DEATH

The 35-year-old's cause of death is remains a mystery but according to reports she was found by a neighbour who later alerted the police. The police were still investigating what happened as she seemed in good spirits and was fine. Zimoja saw communication issued by the Polofields Estate, where she stayed, " We regret to inform you that one of our residents has passed away inside her unit. The family of the resident has been notified and is at Polofields presently. You may notice police, ambulance and coroner vehicles in the estate during the day. Please do not be alarmed as they are attending to the situation. Currently there is no reason for concern."
