She recently decided that it was enough, that it is time to break the silence. The wife of former footballer and former model, Sonia Booth took to social media to air her husband's dirty laundry. Sonia exposed Matthew Booth for cheating with a married woman Bongani Mthombeni-Möller and hired a private investigator to track his movements from February of this year.
SONIA EXPOSES MATTHEW BOOTH
In a series of posts on social media, former model detailed how Matthew cheated. "I was livid at first that my car was used for the Empangeni trip but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because my car app showed the exact address. My research revealed her identity. I then found her husband and emailed him what I had at the time. He later called me over a 19 min tele-convo breaking down her patterns and history "wrote Sonia. She detailed how Matthew baked a cheesecake for his lover on the eve of his son's birthday and never made it for his family. "On the 3rd of Nov (the eve of Nate's bday) Matthew bakes, at night. I was fast asleep already. In the morning we all got excited salivating over the cheesecake thinking it was for Nate's birthday. Imagine our shock and surprise when it disappeared from our fridge, the entire cake, not even a taste, not three slices nyana for me, N & N. We laughed and felt sorry for ourselves." Sonia says she will see this through. "Soze ndizubulale for indoda (I won't kill myself for a man) not even for your legend imagine …me! … Sonia! … I survived ICU for a reason, now stop with your pretentious and capricious concerns. They make me ill, "she wrote.

Bongani shared a video of herself at the gym, unbothered by the allegations. "We are the ones who dare to live, we are the ones who dare to carry on under difficult circumstances. So keep it moving, on to the next." Matthew has since released a statement stating that Sonia's allegations are unfounded. "It is with utmost sadness and disappointment that my wife Sonia Booth resorted to airing unfounded allegations on all public platforms with the intention to tarnish my name without discussing them with me, and without considering the damage that these allegations will cause, especially to our minor children who are in the middle of their final exams and to the Mthombeni-Möller family,' he wrote in a statement. The former centre-back has threatened to take legal action. "The matter has been handed over to my attorneys who have been instructed to vigorously take the necessary steps to claim the appropriate relief,' he says. "I will leave this to the legal system and let the truth prevail in due course.' Matthew says he would like to appeal to Mrs. Mthombeni-Moller, the corporate sponsors, who have partnered with the Booth Trust for the advancement of the soccer development initiatives, not to allow this personal matter to deter the good work that's being done and that which lies ahead.
