Artists have in the past been diagnosed with fatigue among their illnesses due to lack of rest and stress. Mlando singer Pholoso "Toss"Masombuka was hospitalised recently for fatigue after collapsing on stage.Earlier this year, DJ Lamiez Holworthy spoke about being physically and mentally exhausted and taking time off. This year, also, singer and songwriter, Lerato ?Lira' Moipone suffered a stroke that affected her speech and mobility.
MAMPINTSHA HOSPITALISED
Recently, having made a comeback with Big Nuz, Mandla "Mampintsha" Maphumulo (40) is reported to have suffered a health scare following a stroke. According to a close family member, the Ngeke singer has been admitted to Durdoc Hospital in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal after a minor stroke that affected his mobility and speech. The friend says, Mmapintsha started not feeling well in December but was hospitalised on 17 December. "He thought it had something to do with ancestors. But it seems like it's a health issue, probably from working too much and stress. But doctors are still trying to get a clear indication as to what may have caused it," a close family friend says.
