Makhadzi and Limpopo boy kiss and make-up

Makhadzi is said to be in a happy space with his dancer

Multi-award winning artist Makhadzi and his long time dancer Limpopo Boy have smoked a peace pipe after they had a fall out in July. Real name Matome Robert Thoka, Limpopo Boy is currently in Australia  where he is hosting dance workshops with his partner Rush Mabanana and ironically the Zwivhuya hitmaker is also there. Sources claim that although it has not been officially confirmed that the two are back together, Makhadzi invited Limpopo Boy during the music video shoot of her latest single titled Shintsha Magear.

SORTING OUT THEIR DIFFERENCES

Zimoja has seen the music video and Limpopo Boy is one of the lead dancers in it. "They are trying to sort out their differences as they had a fallout before Makhadzi's tour to Canada, United Kingdom and the USA. Remember that Makhadzi left behind Limpopo Boy who is her longest serving dancer and choreapher and went to discover a new talent. It was only Rush Mabanana who was present on that tour and everyone was wondering what was happening between the two of them," said the source who has close links with Open Mic, a stable Makhadzi is signed to.

THEY'VE  COME A LONG WAY

Another source said that it was impossible for Makhadzi and Limpopo Boy not to fix whatever that made them go their separate ways. "It was nice seeing Limpopo Boy during the shoot of Shintsha MaGear and what impressed us was the way he fitted in. It was like he never left. Even after the shoot they were all laughing and celebrating the success of the music video shoot. I'm just glad that they were able to fix their differences as they come a long way," the source said.
According to well placed sources, Limpopo Boy and Makhadzi had a fallout when the dancer decided to take a gig with an energy drink company and travelled around the country scouting for new dance talent. Sources claimed this angered Makhadzi who felt that Limpopo Boy dumped their rehearsals as they were preparing for their overseas tour. Other sources had claimed that Limpopo Boy failed to submit his traveling documents because he wanted to take.up the gig. When Open Mic Co-Owner Lionel Jamela was contacted for comment, he refused to comment and asked to be sent questions. "I'll forward the questions to Makhadzi so that she will be the one to respond to this matter," he said. Attempts to get comment Makhadziand Limpopo Boy proved fruitless as they are in Australia. They did not respond to WhatsApps.
