Wherever you meet Lee-Anne Makgotso, famously known as Gogo Maweni, there will sure be some controversy as she doesn't mince her words. She says is unbothered about what people think about her. Speaking to Zimoja from her comfortable place in Mondeor in the South Of Jozi, Gogo Maweni says that what you see is what you get when it comes to her.
SHE STUDIED IN NEW YORK
What most people don't know is that despite her controversial posts and utterances, the 33-year-old who hails from the Free State is a qualified psychologist who studied abroad, New York to be specific. "Most people think I'm not educated. I studied in New York and when I came back I I started my business before I began my journey to becoming a traditional healer," said Maweni.
VOCAL ABOUT HER LOVE LIFE
Maweni became famous when she began dating former The Queen actor SK Khoza.She has also dated faded former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabo Rakhale and former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyabonga Zulu. "I have been very vocal about my exes who are not taking responsibility of the kids. I criticised them publicly because I want them to be there for their kids. I'm not a bitter because I'm happily married. My husband is everything to me. He is definitely what I needed in a man," says the entrepreneur.
LIVING HER BEST LIFE
Yesterday Gogo Maweni posted a video clip where she reminded the people who go around saying she is ugly that they are not in her league.
"While you are out there gossiping about me being ugly just remember one thing. I'm a graduate, I have a degree, I am married, I a mother of three beautiful sons, I have my own houses, I have land, I don't ask my parents for money, I don't qualify for SASSA, I don't qualify for R350. I can travel to anywhere in the world. So we are not in the same level darlings. Asilingani.".
BEWITCHING HER BABY DADDIES
Maweni once made allegations that she is the one who bewitched Khoza after the star was fired from The Queen. She was also accused for ending Zulu's career at Mamelodi Sundowns after he failed to attend a disciplinary hearing. Zulu was also evicted from his house after he failed to keep up with monthly rent. Early this year Maweni responded to allegations that she bewitched her baby-daddies."I don't have baby daddy issues. All issues were settled in my indumba. The outcome was to leave them with nothing. If my kids don't eat, no one easy. Do the maths," she said. During a radio interview with Gagasi FM, she pulled a shocker and made it clear that she didn't bewitch SK Khoza."For those who don't know I supported him financially and emotionally. I have never seen this side of him and I cannot comment on his behaviour because there are things that I cannot speak about regarding him," she said.
