The recently arrested fugitive Doctor Nandipha Magudumana (34) could have been part of season 3 of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg but she turned down the offer.Zimoja has learned, on good authority, that Magudumana was approached by the show's producer and former Generations' actress, Sonia Mbele ,to be part of the reality show.
SECOND THOUGHTS
She was approached to be part of the cast because of her lavish lifestyle and was in the company of her brother, Nathi Sekeleni, who was also set to appear as part of her story. But according to Zimoja sources she wanted to do the show although she had doubts. Former employee of the production told Zimoja that Magudumana was Mbele's first choice.
"She embodied what the show is about... her beauty, young mother of two, successful career woman who is also married to a doctor," the source adds.
Magudumana apparently asked for few days to think it through and came back a few days later and declined the offer, citing that it would expose her family, especially her two children.
"Sonia was disappointed because she really adored her but had to respect the fact that she wanted to live her life in peace. Little did we know that she was hiding a big secret," the source says. Mbele was reluctant to speak about featuring Dr Nandipha on the show.
She only said to Zimoja, "The woman I met is nothing compared to the woman I am reading about," before dropping the phone.
